Trade 1: I wouldn't give Nylander for Silfverberg tbh
Trade 2: No way Carolina gives Steal away while they're trying to make the playoffs
Trade 3: I'd rather give just a 1st for Staal if I were Buffalo then just give up on Tage Thompson
Trades 4 & 5: If you're gonna trade Scandella and Beaulieu I would assume you should trade them for defensemen who are better at actually playing defence. Bowey's promising but they already have two d-man similar in development to him with Pilut and Guhle.

As a Ducks GM, I'll gladly take that deal. Nylander has a lot of upside and Silfverberg could just be a rental.

Thank you for your comments, greatly appreciated. How many trades on this site actually take place, I would like your opinion, are the trades fair and would they help the Sabres make the playoffs? Oops! I forgot to add Bowey is a RHD, Pilut, Guhle, Beaulieu and Scandella are all LHD. The trade balances the left/right which is how Housley has played his defense most of the year, except when he has a RHD injured. This helps him to maintain that order.

Thank you for your comment, as you can see the previous comment has a different point of view. I ask the same, are the trades fair, do they help the Sabres make the playoffs?

Trade 1 you may be correct, it is all a matter of opinion
Trade 2 Staal and Okposo have nearly identical careers, they are the same age, with the same cap hit with the same term and nearly the same performance this year, it is not a give away just trading RW for Center.
Trade 3 same as trade 1
Trade 4 and 5 I see this as trading 2 of the seven LHD for a RHD and forward, surplus for holes in the line up.
I would do these trades, good job.
