I feel like Detroit will hold out for a 1st, but if they can't get one, deal seems okay. Carolina passes hard. 2 other ones seem fair! All in all, good, but doubt Stars wanna have their first pick in round 4 of the draft.

The only thing I’ve heard from Carolina is that they are far from getting a deal done. If they drop out of the race, I’m sure the return would still be better than what I offered. It would be nice to add some grit to this team though.

As of right now, they are back in the race and their focus remains there. I know at some point, they wanted a 1st for Ferland. He's on many teams' lists. He'd be a great add.

I think plenty of teams would be interested in Ferland. The price will be a lot higher than that. Maybe try going after Maroon instead? I like the Ottawa deal though

Detroit has no interest in taking Janmark back, He just didn't fit into our system .. And Duchene wants closer to $9 million per. He already said no to 8 x 8 from Ottawa.

Taxes in Texas are cheaper. He would be making more on a team he feels is in a win now mode. I think Duchene would definitely consider it.

The real Detroit trade is the draft pick. How about Dickinson?
