I wouldn't say Chris Tierney is expendable. He can play anywhere in the lineup, both special teams and he's on pace for like 50 points this season, in largely a 3rd line role. Also depending on how the next few days go, he's arguably our number 1 centre to start next season. And he's not even much older than some of the prospects Ottawa is getting back in the deal.

I'm not sure where he fits in long term, but right now he's a player I'd be looking to keep.

I really want to see what Cehlárik can do. Kid makes so many plays. The value is fair though

I guess that’s fair. I just feel like with so many center prospects in the organization for the sens that Tierney could be moved.

There's going to be room in the short term. Dutch is gone, they hopefully find Smith a new home in the offseason. Brown probably starts next year in the AHL, and Chlapik is probably our 4th line center. That leaves our centre looks like White-Tierney-Pageau-Chlapik. Things start to get crowded once Brown gets called up, but by then Tierney's value will have shot up from where it is now.

I'm a big fan of Tierney. I do this deal and add if need be.

If it’s not going to get them over the hump i’d Say it’s probably more worth it to keep them. Really like how Cehlarik has developed
