I'd take Jensen over Nyquist at that cost from the Caps perspective.

St Louis doesn't need a goalie. Binnington is on fire and Allen is holding a spot as backup. They wouldn't trade that package for Howard because A) They wanna keep their inner core of young players (Blais) and they wont have a pick until round three if they did this (1st round pick to buffalo for ROR). Other then that I think these trades are decent. Could get more for Jensen. Lawton said it was a 2nd and a prospect. Or maybe straight up for Zaitsev

If the Blues can get rid of Allen, and bring in Howard for cheap they would do it, but at this point I think the Blues stay put. Armstrong said "You don't tell the players, how players play is when you know what needs to happen" I think Blues aren't going to make any changes at the deadline which is less than a week.
