Yeah no. Nashville needs secondary scoring but they won't be idiots in order to get it

Ok, I never said Tolvanen will be a top player, but he'll be a better player than Saad, which is why this trade is so stupid for Nashville

Saad is a 40-50 point per season guy who plays a two way game. Unless Tolvanen can crack 60-70 points per year he will never compare to Saad.

Saad is also just 26 years old, with term on his contract. Why gamble on a chance of getting an NHL player in Tolvanen and a first when you know what your getting with Saad.

For the Blackhawks it’s simple, get some lottery tickets and replenish the core. We’re not winning, and Saad will be a UFA by the time we compete.
