Description

Not sure how much FLA wants to move Hoffman, theyll look to contend next year. Maybe they move him in the offseason if they end up getting Panarin and Bob. Regardless, what do you think his price is? Hes on a decent contract for another year. Coyle got a struggling top prospect so Id think Hoffman would get something more than that. I threw out a couple trade lmk what you think. Im thinking none of these deals I put are quite enough but who knows

You are way way way over paying in the Avs deal. You arent getting a guy like Jost++ for Hoffman.

Id say Sanheim and Lindblom? again im not really sure on how much Hoffmans price is, Is say its a couple roster ready prospects/ young players to clear up cap for Panarin/ Bob. Not sure is Flyers would do that with your rough D situation but idk who else they would want aside from Frost who ik is basically untouchable

Id think they want more NHL ready guys than a pick but Pitt doesnt really have those type of prospects so not sure if theyre the best trade partner

This is a lot of overpay, lets just remember FLA bought Hoffman for a 2nd 4th & 5th round pick.

His value is anywhere from a single 1st to a Top 6 prospect + mid pick

I get that, but the guy is playing really well. All this talk about Kreider getting a huge haul and Hoffman always out-preforms him. Now obviously Kreider is certainly better than him in a lot of regards but if youre looking for a consistent scoring winger on a solid deal with term, why should you view at what FLA paid to get him. FLA capitalized on a bad situation and its worked out great.
