Description

The point is to show how we can trade Stone and sustain it through a cap crunch.

Trading Trouba and extending Myers is a preference but you can go the other way and extend Trouba.

The rationale for the Connor/Stone trade is that over the next 8 years we upgrade our top 6 in return for a pretty incredible top 6 talent.

So you want control of a player for 8 years(Gildon), possibly longer, And then get a draft pick if he does not re-sign? Might be the most ridiculous condition i have ever seen. Kudos for that.

You get that Gildon's a college prospect, right? A similar condition was in place for Foley in Statsny's trade last year. It's pretty sensible for college prospects.
