Tampa can't trade their 2019 1st since they owe it to NYR if they win the cup as part of the McDonagh trade. Seems like an overpayment for Risto to me... Foote and Miller alone seems close in value to me (with it a little tilted in Buffalo's favor).

True, I forgot about that conditional pick to the Rangers. For the other pieces I was going from the Montour trade, thinking Ristolainen is worth more than Montour, but I never really see Ristolainen play so I was really just estimating what he's really worth. Thanks for the input

You're welcome! From the 5-10 Buffalo games I've seen, he looks like a really good 2nd pairing guy but a slightly below average 1st pairing guy. Maybe on a team like Tampa where he wouldn't have to carry the defense he could manage a top pairing role. A Hedman - Risto pairing would be frightening.
