St. Louis is about the one team that doesn't need a goalie.

LOL.. I wouldn't say that at all. Don't be so high on Binnington. & remember that behind him is Jake Allen.. yikes.

Even if the Blues were interested, no way in hell Blues give you Parayko or Thomas. Even with 2 mil retained, it's not worth it. Binnington isnt a better goaltender or Allen, but they would rather try what they have than pay that price for Price.

St-Louis wanted Price so now they can get him for a reasonable price.

Well Price is a franchise player so everything in that deal can be reasonable. Price is worth atleast 2 first round picks .

Well your "franchise player" had worse stats than our scapegoat goalie last year. Obviously Price is better than Allen but at almost 7 million more per year and now that we may have something in Binnington, there is zero reason for the Blues to pursue Price.

They don't have the best goaltending. He is a world-class goalkeeper who wouldn't want him?

He is a very good goaltender who has the salary of a world-class goalkeeper. He's played like his october-November self far more often than "world class" over the last three seasons. Plus he's almost 30 and oft-injured. Assuming someone did want to take him on, don't think a team like the Blues would give you that much

I’d give 2 firsts for Parayko way before I’d consider it for Price

i think you're not getting what i was saying , your statement was ironic because your post infers you dont want Price .
its like me saying i dont understand why people dont dont want to donate 25% of their income to charity and it turns out i dont either .

Well, I think Price needs a new environment. Me trading Price does not mean I don't think like him.

Not a second round pick, but a top 2 defenseman, a future number 1 center and a 1st round is way too much for any goaltender, not just price. Hell Patrick Roy never got that return. Not to mention, Price's salary drives the asking way down. If he was only 6 mil like Gibson or under like Quick, maybe you get more. But considering Binnington is playing hotter than any goalie right now, they have to ride it out.
