Overpay? Oilers retain a mill on McDavid send a obvs better centre in RNH > over little lmao I think this deal is brutal laine is good but one diminsel Edmonton hangs up immediately

Have to agree with the first guy, Connor-Laine-Two firsts-Little is an overpay for McDavid and Huge even with the retention. Little isn't as good as Nuge right now, but he's still a good center and costs less. Laine is a 30 to 40+ goal scorer, Connor is an unbelievable talent. I don't think this deal is worth it for the Jets

Nuge for Little, 1st
McDavid for the rest. 2 Wingers, a late round 1st and a late round 2nd

Hard pass from EDM.

Any pick between about 20-31 are roughly the same...a playoff round teams 1st is as valuable as each other. Its what the teams do with it makes the difference. Tonnes of todays stars were picked in the twenties

Your point about 1st rounders is pointless. Sure a really good player could be drafted at #32 OA but the chances of a really good player being drafted inside the top 10 is much more likely. This offer above is woefully insufficient.

How do you figure? Little is going to a cap dump if at all possible in the offseason and clearly the only value your 1st has is for a deadline rental.
