I don't see the Isles, Calgary, Carolina or Ottawa doing these trades

I don't think Washington does that trade now. Burakovsky is playing really well as of late, and I'd think his value has increased because of it.

I like the Fox idea. If Fox decides to play his senior year, a trade won't be necessary. They can take their shot at signing him next year. He might be enticed to sign in Vancouver, due to their lack of depth on the back-end and Rathbone being a teammate of his.

The Calgary trade would be difficult. That would be a significant trade within a division.

I would agree with out on this one. As you look around the league and see the best D men making around $8 million. What about getting both at 10 or 10.5 million balancing the cap down the middle?

I think that would work. It just seems kinda outrageous to me to pay a defenseman 11.5 million but I mean Carey Price is a goalie making 10.5 million
