1.
BOS
  1. 2020 7th round pick (COL)
  2. 2021 3rd round pick (COL)
Additional Details:
Conditional 3rd round draft pick: If Kevin Miller plays over 70 games in the season of 2019 ~ 2020, a 2021 2nd round draft pick will be sent instead.

Unconditional 7th: If Kevin Miller doesn't resigns with the Colorado Avs, there would be no pick sent to the Bruins.
COL
  1. Miller, Kevan
  2. 2021 7th round pick (BOS)
Additional Details:
Conditional 7rd round draft pick: If Kevin Miller plays over 70 games in the season of 2019 ~ 2020, a 2021 5nd round draft pick will be sent instead.

Adding depth to the already really good Av team. Kevin Miller is a DFD that can carry the puck and play decently offensively. I love Miller but he has no more spots on this team... He is worth more than McQuaid for his offense and matches McQuaid's defense. I wouldn't say this is a bad trade for a top heavy Avs team.
2.
BOS
  1. 2021 6th round pick (VGK)
VGK
  1. Nordström, Joakim
Additional Details:
Just a depth trade. Nordstrom is taking an extra roaster spot we don't need.
3.
BOS
  1. Chmelevski, Alexander
  2. 2021 6th round pick (SJS)
SJS
  1. Blidh, Anton
  2. Moore, John
Additional Details:
I don't really know the value of Chmelevski but what I saw was a really solid prospect and just would want Boston to take a chance on him. SJS might lose Karlsson this summer probably want to bolster up some defensive depth by adding Moore, and Blidh is just a 4th liner grinder/AHL player, really having not much of a role in this trade. Moore would be a top 6 D or at worse, a 7th D, as he is playing in Boston. He would bring more a 2 way game to SJS, and helping with the offense. I know Moore just signed a 5 year contract with the Bruins, but if I were him, I would want to move due to lack of ice time. Bruins have one of the best blue lines in the Atlantic, giving Moore no spots to play. This is a player who won't fit Boston but have a chance to show his potential again in SJS, who is known for defense.

In my opinion the value you're trading these players are pretty good, but the teams are wrong. COL doesn't need Miller, they already have their RHDs set for the next season (Barrie, Johnson, Makar/Timmins), and the same goes for SJ (Vlasic, Dillon, Ryan).

SJ is in cap problems. They can't afford to take no more contracts they have not too much use for.

I think your contracts are pretty darn good. For that alone I’d give it 4 stars. The one thing I don’t get though is miller.
1. Why trade him? You’ve got 3.5 million in cap. D men get hurt, depth is good.
2. I could get it if it was desperation to get Vaak in the lineup, but you’re doing that for Connor Clifton? He’s a solid depth guy, but cmon.

Lastly, where is studnicka?

Signing are pretty close, some maybe +/- $500k. As much as I'd hate to say it, I don't know that I'd trade a d-man right away. These past two seasons have been brutal on our d-men and its shown how important it is to have guys who can step in. It also doesn't hurt to have guys like Vaak, Lauzon, Zboril all get time in the AHL. Its really a tough call because I like what Clifton brings, but he's another undersized d-man. While he hits like a truck and doesn't back down, he still lacks size in handling bigger forwards.

Can't see Steen making the team right away. Studnicka would have a shot and even Kuhlman, but I think Steen needs a season in the AHL. Also can't forget about Senyshyn. I know most fans have pretty much put the "bust" label on him, but I think he still can be a 20+ goal 3rd line guy in the NHL at worst.

I get whee you are going with studnicka but I just want to play it safe. If he is tearing the AHL by the 30th game, I might just switch him with Steen or someone who isn't producing. 1. Its the kind of thing where we are brining young players into the lineup and to address the 2nd issue, I get your point. It depends how ready vaak is and if we need to shake things up. Especially with the injury luck we have, I believe they will both play 60 games if they stay healthy. Thanks for the advise tho

to be fair with you, I am not certain about the depth charts with teams in the west. Its any team other than our divisional rivals. My bad.

the Dman depth and injury is something that I cannot deny, but Miller himself as played only 30 or so games due to injury, as that strong of a player, that is not fun. I agree with the Stern and Studnicka situation and would want to see a test for the first 20 or 30 games of a season, than we can switch or keep it the same. I get the Senyshyn part and which I believe he is a bust, but he still can be a solid 3rd liner. I don't foresee him beating out Studnicka or Kuhlman but I can see him getting his promotion at the playoffs for the 2019 2020 season
