I really like the DET and ANA trades, both trades are swapping organizational strengths at similar contract cap hits, I don't think VAN would need another center though, I'm sure you could find another taker, he's a good depth option.

Detroit has a log jam of Defenseman, so I wouldn't want to see that trade happen. Overall though, it would definitely hold water. They might not want to take on another defenseman, but the 2nd round pick helps.

I can't quite judge the DET-WSH trade appropriately because I don't know much about Orlov's value but I can tell you more details about Tatar.
First off I wouldn't read too much into the 4th line deployment as he averaged 15 minutes a game, around 10 minutes more than both of his line mates. I'm not really sure why the line-up was made like that or how deployment worked though. He also led the team in scoring (3A in 5GP) so he was able to produce.
Second he was the top possession driver on our team this season other than Datsyuk, was 2nd in G, 5th in A, and 3rd in P. That being said, Detroit was a poor team offensively this season so those stats aren't as impressive on other teams but it goes to show his value to Detroit.

Depending on Orlov's value I could see a trade like this working. One of Tatar or Nyquist are rumored/hoped to be on the move this off season for a defenseman although I believe that the preference would be Nyquist and for a RHD rather than a LHD.

All together a pretty good line-up, as LeafsFan said the trades address each team's needs and surplusses. Plus as a Detroit fan, I would love to see Helm go to WSH and think he would be the perfect 3C there.

I agree. Unless you're taking one of the Detroit's D prospects like Jensen back and giving up either another pick or prospect I don't see it working. DRW doesn't seem to value high risk, high reward D-men (see Smith, Brendan) either.

I believe he could be on the trade block this off season, depending on how contract negations turn out. Johansson is a jack of all trades, master of none type of player. He's the key guy on the power play when it comes to zone entires. He jumps in front of the net and is responsible in his own zone. He can't drive a line like an elite forward, but complements every line he play's on. Washington doesn't see him a core guy and that's probably because of his lack of scoring. There are so many playmakers on this team that his talents get overlooked plenty times, unless he's putting the puck in the net.

Caps should really trade Mojo, he's very good, but the Caps have too many playmakers and not enough finishers. Watching them play in the playoffs you can see that they almost always over pass on the 2nd and 3rd lines, missing on opportunities.

Vrana's promotion will be a start as he's a shooter, and a solid 3C would improve the Caps. Mojo is a expendable player that holds good value, young and versatile.
