I think both parties would benefit. Carolina gets more scoring depth, and Toronto gets a solid D-Man.

All trades work/fair in my eyes.
Maybe VAN isnt the fit for Hainsey, but essentially you are dumping him for anyone willing to take him for a late round pick

Sorry, this makes no sense at all. You've posted a 2018/19 roster. Not the 2019/20 with all the RFA signing, No way this is cap compliant. Trading UFA Hainsey.

You trade Kadri for a RD if you trade him. You can't trade Hainsey as he is a UFA. No way you get Pietrangelo for Liljegren

Where to start with this? I guess at the top.
1. What incentive is there for Anaheim to take on Horton? None under this proposal, so why would the Ducks do it.
2. Carolina trade seems like a pretty good trade, but without additional moves, you can't afford to sign Fleury. With the team the way you have it, you will not fit under the cap with a 20 man roster if you plan on resigning Marner, KK, and AJ.
3. Arizona trade, it will cost you to get rid of Zaitsev. If the 4th going to Toronto was a 7th, then the trade works from a value standpoint.
4. You are trading a UFA to Vancouver. Really?
5. That trade with St Louis isn't even worth commenting on.
6. Maybe you forgot the Un before the realistic in your title.
7. My apologies if this post was a "Sarcasm post" and was intended to make fun of the various lop sided trades proposed on this site.

Kadri is Brad Marchand light, IMO Carolina would need to add. Fleury may be a good prospect but Kadri IS a 30 goal scorer if he played more minutes.
IMO Chayka would jump at that deal. A solid second pairing RHD could be sufficient to push Arizona into the playoffs next year.
St. Louis is in a win now mode so I do not see any reason why they would make that trade.
I have no comment on the other trades.

But, since you are willing to give away Zaitsev and want an inexpensive RHD in return for Kadri. I would imagine Betterall would listen to moving Nelson. I know he is older than Fleury, but he is solid, steady and plays within his own skills. Nelson and SJS 1st and Nelson for Kadri and Zaitsev? Maybe I am over valuing Nelson, just as Fleury is a bit over valued here. All constructive feed back is always welcomed.

buuuuut he's Pietrangelo. Did you notice what rentals went for at the deadline? Duchene getting a first, another conditional first, and two prospects. And taht's for a couple months.

In a couple years, it will be fair to offer up a B+ prospect and a 2nd rounder for Morgan Reilly then right? Let that sink in.

No, rental rules don't apply to the leafs.

Its not the same though.
A fringe team at the trade deadline needing to make the playoff will pay a premium.
No where does it specify in the description this is a trade deadline deal

I'm aware. You cited that the price will be so low because he only has a year left. I showed you the deadline to prove that, well, that doesn't really matter. Really good players still get really good returns.

Here is another thing to think about. St. Louis has been arguably the best team in the NHL for the second half. Why are they trading their top d man? Follow up, let's say that somehow they would entertain the idea, wouldn't it; a. have to be an overpay, and b. offer them some NHL roster talent? If it's Nylander, Liljigren, and a first....maybe? I think the blues would be really tempted by that, but at the end of the day would say, "no, we're better with Petro, and we're in win now mode."
