I don’t think they would make a move for a pick. Zaitsev is not really appealing on a rebuild. The trade I’ve been toying with is picking up the ltir contracts from Ottawa, which they may need on the books next year for the cap floor. And then adding futures to acquire demelo. Who is a decent enough D but is someone I don’t see in the sens long term plan.

Would be zaitsev 2nd and possibly a prospect for gaborik MacArthur and demelo.

They are gonna have rough playoffs till they can find more guys who can be physical. And they need someone who can drop gloves. The NHL is never going to clean this kind of play up, and it's not going away.
