Assuming the Devils take Hughes 1st overall, they will already have tons of depth at Center (Nico, Hughes, Zajac). If they were to trade for a Forward, it would likely be for a winger.

I think they should take kaapo but if they dont i think hughes will become a winger who does special things. It would open up the game for him. He could have success much like marner and kane

How about Kadri for Severson? Most likely Leafs will be trading its forwards this offseason for defensemen. Marner most likely gets 10.5 for 5, 3 million for two for both Johnsson and Kapanen. Someone else has to be moved, I'm thinking BRown and Zaitsev

Leafs save 3.2m in cap....almost halfway to their needs. If Santini is deemed good enough, think the Leafs do it

Severson is good but not very defensive and is paid close to the same as kadri
