Justin Williams is taking a roster spot from a young prospect (Likely Necas) and is not contributing much. Good leader sure, but he's in his late 30's. Time to let go.

I think the hurricanes would be stupid to let him go. Look at what he has done to the morale of this team as the captain. And 50 points too. Drop the value of his contract. He stays. At least for a year.

They could easily put Necas on that third line with Williams and Ferland. Carpenter is overpaid here and they already have players in their system that can serve as the 13/14 forward.

I would hope CAR says no to this, with Necas coming up and all. Pesce is very valuable to CAR.

53 points is "not contributing much" the man has single handily won the canes games, Not to mention he's been a terrific leader. absolutely worth another if he still wants to play.
