For Doughty, it would most likely be Kadri, Nylander, Sandin, and a 1st.
LOL .. no it wouldn't. LA just had a brutal year and Doughty wasn't that good. Yes he has a track record of being good, but the down year would certainly affect his value. Kings wouldn't have much interest in Kadri since they're looking to get younger so take him out. Leafs aren't moving Sandin, they've pretty much deemed him as the only prospect that's untouchable so take him out. You're looking more at Nylander, Liljegren, 2020 1st, 2021 conditional 2nd that could turn into a 1st for whatever reasons, and a C+/B- prospect. Might be able to make that be Bracco but I don't think the Leafs wanna move him since he could be the cheap replacement for other guys. But Doughty wouldn't be the only piece coming back to Toronto either. They'd be taking on a huge contract and reliving a rebuilding team of a massive amount of cap (about $4M) so they add too. Toronto could use some depth and a lot of players on LA would be considered depth on Toronto so they match up well.
Right now, I'd say close to a good deal might look like:
William Nylander
Timothy Liljegren
Semyon Der-Arguchinstev
2020 TOR 1st round pick (top 10 protected)
2021 TOR 2nd round pick (conditional to 1st if Toronto wins cup in either 2019/2020 or 2020/2021)
Drew Doughty
Trevor Lewis (50% retained)
Paul LaDue
2021 LA 4th round pick (conditional if Toronto's pick upgrades from a 2nd to a 1st, LA sends this pick)
But any deal for Doughty is contingent on Leafs being able to handle the Marleau situation first. They'd have to move him for it to work
