Not signing Joakim Ryan, Suomela,Nyquist, Haley or Heed but signing Donskoi, Karlsson, Pavelski and Thornton. A lot depends on the playoffs this year. They come in at close to $9 million over. Karlsson won't get less than $10 million per year on the open market.

Thornton won't get that much. Likely around $4.5M; but the overall point your making is heard. Reality is, I find it hard to believe Karlsson get re-signed.

Yeah I don't see how they could have Karlsson back unless Thornton and Pavelski retire because they win the cup or something along those lines.

Wonder if SJ trys to trade MEV before the draft to tdy and sign Karlsson, can't see it but I guess it's a possibility. Hearing that Karlsson wants to play on the east coast somewhere in one of the bigger markets like NY.

SJS has to choose between EK and the fwd depth. they cant keep both.
