I agree. No way Hall let's them do this little. Ray will be hard at work this summer. I expect he will land o,e of the big fish this summer. Especially when now we have the potential of two elite centers. Eberle I see as a safe bet. Karlsson, Panarin or Skinner are on my radar if I'm Ray for a successful summer. If not, a trade will be made. I glad we had a quiet off season last year.

You do realize that the exact same thing happened with Kerfoot right? Kerfoot was picked in the 5th round 2012 didn't sign with the Devils signed with the Avalanche, Butcher was picked in the 5th round in 2013 didn't sign with the Avalanche and signed with the Devils. It was basically a trade.

That Nyquist deal makes me If Nyquist signed that crappy deal. He'd still be in Detroit and not San Jose.

Just going to point some things out for you. Gustav Nyquist had a career year this year with 60 points in 81 games. His current cap hit is 4.75 mil with Detroit retaining 1.425 mil; leaving the sharks with a 3.325 mil cap hit. His total salary is 5.5 mil this year. With all that I would expect his contract to be 6 mil for 6 years as a starting point. I'm not trying to poke fun just trying to share useful knowledge to a fellow ACGM. With all that said I do like that you chose not to sign any of the big UFAs, I feel any team that signs them will likely regret it down the road. I would go for the 6 to 7 mil players though like Gustav.
