Not enough for Subban, quality over quantity. That’s a lot of meh for Subban. Shultz is good, but the big reason to move Subban is to give Fabbaro a spot in the top 4 next year and getting Schultz back doesn’t do that. Johnson is a cap dump and Rust is okay but not the offensive punch Nashville would need to move Subban.

Schultz is also ufa after next season and wouldn’t be brought back so that’s a waste of a return asset for Nashville.
So cap dump, 1 year rental, + 3rd line forward (which Nashville has ALOT of) would rather get the best futures possible then something like this

One is an over payment, the other brings back a 37 year old winger the penguins don't want.

I'd take a 37 year old winger that can still score over a slumping Hornqvist any day.
