Going in if you know The Jets want and will take Zaitsev it isn’t bad. I still skeptical about trying to flip players. So Detroit is looking at $11,250,000 spread out over 5 years. Toronto might want Glendening as well. If Winnipeg pulls out or doesn’t want Zaitsev $22,500,000 still spread out over 5 years but not good at all. It might be like Nielsen or Daley all over again. If everything goes as planned its great. I think the quote is:

Patrick Marleau has a full NMC so he can veto any trade. In addition the Wings would not buy him out and have that cap hit on 20-21's cap.

Plus all the 2nd round capital is gone...not going to happen.
