The Leafs third line center who didn’t even top 50 points and has now been suspended in back to back postseasons for... the Isles best defenseman who has already gotten extremely close if he hasn’t already realized his top pair potential? Really?

Kadri is top-6 C anywhere else in NHL, he is on great contract and is very good offensively and defensively. He scored back to back 30+ goals with Komarov and such and he had very low shooting percentage and missed a lot of attempts or they hit the bar or some ****, he hasnt scored as many goals but he has been great otherwise. Im sorry but that is worth Pulock.

People on here, "Here is a small sample size I am going to focus on to prove a point and cherry pick a couple of things to drive down someone's value while ignoring other things that happened recently that will absolutely destroy my argument.".

Kadri shot 5% lower on his shooting percentage than his career average, he was extremely unlucky this season. And was one of 8 centres who has scored back to back 30 goal seasons. To call him a 3c who scores less than 50 points is completely ignoring his body of work and trying to artificially lower the value. An actual GM like Lou wouldn't do that, why? Because it's silly and no one would take them seriously.

Kadri is a 2C on most teams but he's 4 years older then Pulock and will be a UFA after his contract ends whereas Pulock is still an RFA once his contract ends.
If there's a deal that involves these two it's the Leafs who should be adding to make it an even trade.

What moves Lamoriello makes depends upon which of his free agents he wants to re-sign and which of his free agents he actually ends up re-signing. If he needs to replace Eberle for either reason, that might create some interest in Kapanen. Personally, I would be happy with Kadri for Mayfield in some setting.
