I don't know why they signed him to 3 years. One or two would have been fine. If he's not playing by then, he's done. He'll be 22 next year, teams ain't waiting on wingers till they are 24.

Because its a rule..? Hes 21, if you sign someone aged 18-21 you sign them to a 3 year elc.

He will never be an NHLer. Honestly not sure about this signing. He left college for the easier USHL and didn't do much to excite their. Seems like a wasted contract spot.
