Marner is not getting 11, and the NJD may need some work but im sure they could get something done. The point is to get rid of Marleau

He is their best player don't be surprised if he gets an offer sheet maybe the Devils. You need a magic wand to get rid of Marleau's cap hit. It all comes down to 40million in 4 players is a recipe for disaster.

I hope someone offersheets Marner and he signs it. That scenario would be closest thing to a sure bet in terms of how to make the leafs a better team..

If Mathews at 8 years is 13.5 million (heard that from TSN when he signed the deal) then Marner at 8 years is at least $11 million.

People are saying no to the NJ and they're right but the bigger issue is what happens when Minnesota laughs in Dubas face when he thinks that's a good enough offer for Spurgeon
