I think Spurgeon is a great offensive defenseman, and I am sure I am in the minority here, but I would I would rather have STL 2nd 24 yo, 6'4" at $5,400,000/yr then 29 yo 5'9" $7,000,000.
Ristolainen gets tougher assignments, hits more, paid less, nearly equal pts. younger, bigger, etc. I would rather keep the devil I know than the devil I do not.
On the other hand, if you could get Faksa, and Honka for Nylander and a third, I would nominate you for GM of the year.
