Description
I think it will be really easy to trade backes, but it would have to be with another asset. The reason why I chose heinen is:
a cap dump
going after ferland and hes an upgrade, as well as, re-singing johansson
yes heinen is skilled but hes not a big energy player for someone I only see being a middle6 guy his whole career.
pretty inconsistent

Speaking of ufa’s, the only players i would consider looking at is ferland and/or dzingel. Out of the two I would rather take ferland considering his big frame and the energy he brings, as well as his decent offensive upside. I feel like if you put him with krech and jake his numbers would go up. The most I would sign him for is 5mil, let some other team overpay for him.
I think it should be relatively easy to re-sign johansson, seems like he likes it here in BOS. I would also not pay him more than 5mil.

For the lines, coyle's rw is open for grabs, whether that's stud, kuhlman, bjork, cehlarik or steen. I think its time for chara to move down the lineup as apparent to how teams have exposed him at times during the playoffs, plus griz and mcavoy have good chemistry anyway since being d partners in college. I think grizz has proven how good he is this year and has shown he can take on more responsibility. The only draw back to him is his size for a top2 defender.

In terms of rfa's, I think the only way to re-sign good young players AND keep the core group together in the salary cap era are cheap bridge deals.

Personally think that Sweeny will try and hold onto Heinen and move a different young player like Bjork, or JFK to be able to move Backes (involving a three team trade like you said).

I really like the Ferland off season signing and can definetly think Johansson will re-sign. Him Coyle and Heinen have developed great chemistry in the playoffs.

Ferland will be Backes 2.0, love the player now but a few years down the line he'll either be too injured to play or just not good.

JFK and Cehlarik are probably gone, at least one will try to be moved with Backes in the offseason, I dont see Heinen getting dealt, too good of a glue guy

Oh yeah trading Heinen that’s real smart. You don’t have a clue what you’re doing. Clearly you don’t know how good of a player he actually is

Sure let’s have another player on this team with a horrible contract for us to worry about. Did you even know he played fourth line for Carolina in the playoffs? Yeah he started off the year hot and then he went on a MASSIVE drought. He’s not a bad player but it’s gonna be a pass for me on him.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to nalzugaray12 lol. I still laugh that he went and deleted an old ACGM rant because it made him look like a complete fool (Trade Marchand because the rumors were he wanted $7 million and according to nalzugaray12 he wasn't worth it. Oh and also Sweeney should be fired because he doesn't know what he's doing). Then he also deleted the ACGM where I called him on it and justified signing Ferland to a $5 million deal, after he tried to call me on it (why I don't know lol). Honestly just put nalzugaray12 on the ignore list. You wont miss a thing and in fact it'll improve your experience on the site.

I gave you a legitimate argument about Ferland and your comeback was “looks like someone still needs their mama to tuck them in at night”. Sweet comeback, shows how bad that signing would be. But go ahead and live your life keyboard warrior

But go on and talk about my past teams I’ve made over a year ago. The last AGM team I made was in July of 2018. You made this team last week and gave out 2 horrible contracts to third liners. This post shows me you’re not a bruins fan but you want the bruins to enter cap hell

Buddy if anyone is trying to get the bruins into cap hell its you, thats y u deleted ur last post cause it gotta alot of flack right. So dont come here and tell me about my bad contracts (which arent even that bad, pre sure ferland is going to get more money for more terms this summer) when you have ur fair share of horrible signings, and u try to cover them up with deleting ur last post, just so u can believe it never happened and ur perfect smh. Also u know nothing about me, so keep saying im not a bruins fan i really dont care. I def dont need ur confirmation to be a bruins fan thats for sure.

Just stick with nhl 19 and play ur gm mode bud, cause u def dont know the value of players
