McAvoy already said he isn’t signing long term

Carlo deal only buys 1 year of RFA. Either go 6+ or less than 4.

Pavelski has no reason to take that contract. He’ll stay in San Jose

That’s too much for Nosek, might as well put Chelarik there. You’ll get the same production for 850k

I believe Chara will be retiring at the season’s end. McAvoy has every reason to demand an 8 year deal worth 8.5 million or higher AAV.

No way. $8.5 is crazy for him right now. He’s not drew doughty yet. Besides, he’s already made it clear he wants to take a bridge deal and bet at himself.

No he isn't lol. His contract is a 35+ so if he retires it still goes against Boston. He wouldn't screw the team like that.
