Anderson is certainly going to get more money than Bernier. Carrick Connor is going to get more. Holland the first line LWer? He may not even if be signed by the Leafs. Doubt if the Isles would trade one of the their top prospects for two years of JVR. Percy and Harrington have no trade value, they might not even be resigned by the Leafs.

1st round pick, a second pairing young d-man with a low salary and an org's #1 prospect for an injury prone JVR?

JVR definitely isn't injury prone, and yes I do think the Islanders would be interested in 2 more years of JVR, they are in a win now mode and he's on a great contract, I think the NYI would be okay with giving up a 4/5 defenseman with some injury problems of his own and a top prospect (although I think they would prefer to give up a different one) and downgrade their pick 30 spots for a top line winger to compliment JT, his contract also lines up with the teams in that Tavares', Grabsovskis and Kulemins all end when JVRs does.

Gotta agree with all these points.
