I don’t think Vancouver would do that trade. Giving up 2 prospects plus a pick for Subban who’s only on for 3 years doesn’t make sense considering they didn’t make the playoffs. They’re still slow walking to the playoffs.

I would guess Van says no.

Turris to somewhere for a midround pick is possible.... in this case i would say it'd be more prudent to trade Smith since you have him on the 4th line. Let Turris center the 3rd line and bounce back so we don't trade him for next to nothing.

Kapenen - Toronto may be hard pressed to match that. Kapanen would have to willingly sign it though and i don't know if he would.

PK Subban to Vancouver. This is a reasonable location for him. Odds are they wouldn't give up Woo, Gaudette, and a 1st. Too much high end futures from a team still rebuilding. Possibly Woo + Stecher + 2nd?
