I tend to agree with you - but at the end of the day it looks like GMJR is deadset on moving him. My hope is that they can at least move JJ with him to ease the blow a bit. Also, I think going out and getting a guy like Dzingel would be a huge addition for the team. He is a Jake Guentzel-like player who I think could really excel in the pens organization.

Yeah Kessel is as good as gone but unfortunately he’s gonna make it difficult with his NTC. They do have different options though I think they can get something better than Faksa back. Don’t think they’re looking for picks unless it’s something like a top 5 pick where the guy would come in year 1 or 2 and make a big contribution. That’s one route the Pens might have to go though is trade Kessel for futures and try and land Dzingel or maybe Eberle.

JJ is gone too, I hope. But I think people exaggerate how hard it is gonna be to get rid of him.

Both Dzingel and MoJo will be north of 5 mil. But to answer the question, I'd go with Dzingel. Better scoring touch.

You are probably right in that they aren't necessarily looking for picks, though GMJR has said he loves this draft class so I think its possible. Eberle would be nice too. They will certainly need to add a guy like him, Dzingel, or Mojo to keep up in the East.

Same here. I have been impressed every time I watch him. Again, I think he could explode for the penguins with the talent they could center him with. I wouldn't mind paying 5+ for him (or Mojo as well). Man, it seems like we should go get a high point getter who is under contract around 5-7 million wink
