Its not enough to get that return from Winnipeg

I figured, just threw it together fairly quick. I was thinking...

1. Mantha + 2nd = Connor
2. Howard + 1st + 2nd = Helle (need to add from DET?)
3. Helm + 3rd = Copp
4. Bowey + 2nd = Trouba (need to add from DET?)

Forget all those advanced analytics. Just base trades on birthplace. Hey it's better than a lot trades posted. Nice originality.

Needs more for Connor, Hellebuyck and Trouba I think, but you´ve thrown in Rasmussen, too.

That's probably fair. Like I said, I don't love this idea but it does help Detroit's logjam of players while helping WPG's cap issues. I'm not sure what else I'd have to add from DET's side at this point. Originally I had another 2nd going to WPG but I thought that was a bit too much. Seeing the big picture now, I think DET can afford it.

I did a Jets-Wings trade on here similar to this one.

The Jets really need to keep Copp so drop that aspect of the deal completely, change Howard to Bernier and it's close, if I'm Chevy I'd maybe do this, would maybe want the Wings to add a sweetener or two but it's pretty close.

Alright, all set. Now I'd like to move Green to make roster space for Oliwer Kaski. Any thoughts on a destination? I heard he blocked a trade to Toronto so that's not an option.

I'm probably in the minority of Jets fans but I think thats a pretty good deal for the Jets but I don't think Trouba is gonna get that big of a return and I'm not very high on Helly, just my opinion though.

Heard on TSN radio this morning that there's plenty of interest from a lot of teams in Trouba so who knows, maybe Trouba will end up going for a pretty good return and the "no team will give much for him cause he's only a season from free agency" crowd will end up being wrong. That could just be media talk too but idk, it really could go either way with what is traded for Trouba, will be interesting to see what happens.

Maybe Detroit adds Green to that deal then with some small retention? At this point of the trade (without Green considered), DET has saved WPG $13.1M assuming the contracts I gave Trouba & Connor are close.
