Description
Based on some rumours and whatnot. What would it take to ship Marleau out to LA? Give and take some draft picks here on all trades but I think that players involved would be good for each other. Post up some ideas!

Didn't the Kings already rob the Leafs on the Muzzin deal? Maybe they will be nice to the Leafs. But your Marleau trade is good.
But your roster size, and the Leafs aren't challenging next season, keep five years of Kapanen instead of trading for one year of Faulk.

what would it take to move marleau to LA? Well it would take Marleau saying yes. Marleau isn't saying yes, so don't even bother with that one.

lol oh yeah? Very good middle 6 winger with crazy speed and PK ability and very controllable for 1 year of Faulk?? You don't think that would get a conversation started?

no. he won't. if he wants to be close to home he'll retire and move him. if he wants to win a cup he'll want to play for a contender.

I don't think they robbed the Leafs at all. Muzzin is a good D man. Better then Gardiner in the D zone. Pair him with Miller (who can move the puck) and that Pair is better then the Muzzin Zaitzev pair. I also think this team is much more well rounded then last years team. Proper players playing proper roles. Roster size will have limitations until we can fit someone else under the cap. Or unless there is another trade

I don't know how you can definitively say that he wouldn't. Unless you have some insider knowledge that I don't know about. And literally no other contender has the cap space for that. But whatever I'm not trying to argue here. I'm simply exploring what was reported today

i can say it definitively because i am capable of using logic.

you're right, there are no other contenders with the cap space.

the only logical conclusion is that marleau is a leaf. over and out.
