Why would u include Bracco in the trade? Big no unless ur getting a RD back & highly doubt Vegas would do that deal

Big fan of draft picks. That's why I staggered the ones I gave away. The reality of our team, is that picks may need to be traded. Vegas needs to shed cap. Ottawa would need picks or prospects going back their way to give up Demelo plus take Zaitsev. Not idea that's for sure!

Why would LA do it otherwise?! The return to them to take on his contract would need to be substantial. Maybe Bracco is an overpay for the Leafs to do it. As a Leafs fan, it's not like I want to get rid of Bracco. But doing this trade allows us to keep Kap and Johnsson and a few others.

As for Vegas, that's a solid package. 2nd + 4th + a B level prospect. About what it will take. They shed cap and get futures.

This is good but I don't see Marner taking less than $11mil , a team offer sheets him that if Leafs don't offer. But then again, that could be a good thing, get like 4 1st round draft picks for him to make up for all the draft picks lost here and have enough to sign Nyquist to a 6x6 deal to replace him on right wing before those picks pan out.
