My favorite part is Florida giving you maybe their most exciting prospect, on top of that a decent one in Tippett, and the entire spectrum of draft picks for basically free

No wait, it might be Buffalo taking on two cap-dumps for a 1st round pick

My second favourite part is signing Duchene for 4 years x 7,9 (?wtf) + trading him right after (????). That also meen they lost their 1st 2020... But at this point ...

For players over 200 minutes of TOI I have Dubinsky and Nash as CBJ's literal two worst players according to Evolving Hockey's GAR. They earn over 8m combined. Nash rates as the 7th worst shorthanded player out of 560, again per Evolving Hockey. What Buffalo lacks is a ROR-sized void on the 2nd line - Mittelstadt shouldn't play anything above 3rd line minutes really.

Lol, the team is lucky to scrape together 23 players in time for next season, I'd assume if Duchene signs they'd literally store him in bubblewrap, a jail cell, or a block of ice until October. But anyways what's a first rounder worth when you're rebuilding?... Right..?

I must be stupid. Can't Florida just sign Panarin and Bobrovsky directly and not give you anything?

Your not the one who is stupid here ... When the UFA market open (july 1st) the florida could potentialy sign them for free (by free I mean they need to give money not players and pick)

Thanks. I appreciate your genuine effort to educate me. That's why I hit the "Like" button. But you should know, for future reference, that I was going for what's called out here in Hollywood "comic sarcasm."

Dear Franky:

I suspected that and tried to be gracious and amusing in my response. I admire and respect your willingness to engage in a spirited and contentious forum in what is not your first language. I have some French but can only imagine how badly I would come across in CapAimable. You come across very well.
