The Jets will be trying to move Perreault to make cap space for Laine and Connor, so why would they take on Anisimov?

Marleau will only waive for a west coast team, So the Hawks aren't happening. And no way Cerilli is being dealt with Callahan. Tampa pretty much said he's not being moved.

The whole idea of "taking advantage" of a teams cap situation is flawed. A team isn't going to give up one of their better assets, they are going to pursue option which is the least damaging. I would be shocked if they have to attach an asset like Kappy to Marleau

Those teams were in far worse cap situations, and the contracts moved were far worse. I could also counter Toronto moving Clarkson and Phaneuf to show it is possible to find trade options.
