Reimer is unmovable contract. And Hoffman doesn’t have a lot of value. The rumors of huberdeau being moved have been around for to long for them to be false.
I personally would keep huberdeau on that contract over paying bread man for double.
On that note I do think a first and risto is good value for panthers.

Reimer can be moved to a team like Ottawa who needs help getting to the cap floor.
Hoffman has greater value to teams like the Islanders and Nashville looking for PP help.
Rumors are completely false, started by a Montreal news person after Huberdeau voiced his frustrations last season, he stated he wants to win and now basically and people blew that up as he wants out which isn’t true.
If Huberdeau were to be moved a team would have to severely overpay and Risto and 1st isn’t that.
GMTD liked this.

Just because a team has to get to cap floor doesn’t mean they will take a player is so bad won’t play and for multiple years. You will need to give picks or prospects to move him.
The problem with Hoffman is he will be a UFA and will be 30.
The reason huberdeau keeps coming up is because he is easiest player to trade. And can get u top 4 RHD and 1st. Maybe sabres take a bad contract back like reimer to sweeten the deal

All depends on the need of the team, look at the Jets for instance. Trouba isn’t going to resign there and they Need a #2 center so for the Panthers it wouldn’t be Huberdeau going but Trocheck. Obviously Panthers would have to throw something in on top of Reimer but you stated he’s unmovable which isn’t true. Hoffman will be a UFA, but every Trade deadline teams pay high prices for rentals, at least if you trade for Hoffman now you get him the whole year and if you want to resign him it gives you more time.

Love the idea of Huberdeau but yeah there's no way that trade happens. Starts with 7OA++

I like that you're trying Sam out at center, would be great to see how he plays with competent linemates
