I like the trade, personally I think Toronto would rather move kapanen but I would say the value here looks very close. Helps Toronto with the cap. I think rather than the 4th Toronto adds zaitsev. Dallas is one of 5 or 6 teamsI could see wanting him.

Don't really see the value as all that high. Don't think Toronto would really see Janmark as a guy they would covet. On the surface level he looks like Komarov type who can produce if its absolutely need on the 2nd PP unit, but otherwise at even strength he produces at a 4th line level. Honka is a reclamation I think Toronto might have interest in, but doubt any team is going to value a guy they have to put through waivers to reclaim as superbly valuable. Add in that the 2nd is several years down the line, and while a 2nd is a 2nd round pick, regardless of the year, the fact is that picks several years down he line are perceived as less valuable.

Hagelin no, but Strålman definitely yes. He wasn't any good last year and was mostly injured...

Maybe swap Janmark+Honka to OTT for our 2nd and offer sheet Johnsson with the maximum 2nd rounder compensation lol

One thing I also thought is to get that pick, don't re-sign Zucc and then acquire someone like Nyquist or Donskoi as UFA and then offer sheet William Karlsson. Hintz-Karlsson-Nyquist would be great 2nd line for us... And VGK is probably in the hardest place of all the teams cap wise.
