Yeah so you sign him to a deal that's never going to happen, And if Nyquist accepted that little he'd still be in Detroit and not a pending UFA.

WAY too much from NYR, no way they give up the 2OA
I’d be happy with one of Andersson/Chytil/Howden and our 1st for Trouba, maybe a small add either way to even out dependant on who we would get.(maybe get Seider with our pick)
I suggested Ehlers for Pesce a while ago mid season but doubt Car moves him. He is only getting better and was their best defender. He was a sleeper for so long but now word is out. That said, Ehlers is exactly what Car needs
Keep Kuli, no point in wasting an asset for one year
Same with Frenchie, he would be a good veteran for whoever we pick up for the 3rd line

Pesce is the long term RHD the Canes have, doubt if can be traded. Trouba's trade value is about a one year rental, not McAvoy's trade value..
