Damn Winnipeg gets the LHD they've been chasing and a #2 centre theyre missing plus the 11th overall pick.
Philly gets a top goal scoring winger and a top 4 RHD which they need

WPG would be crazy to trade Laine tho.

Maybe but taking Patrick and Sanheim plus another potential top 6 or top 4 with the 11th is too much to not say yes. You could get Krebs, Podkolzin, Caufield, Broberg, Boldy, Zegras with that.

If the reports are correct, both Trouba and Laine want out of Winnipeg. As a Jets fan, like them both but if they don't want to be here...

I know I know, but I think it would be a too big of a risk to take on 2 guys that haven't proved them selves on being consistent nhl players. I know Sanheim had a great season, but what if he falls of a cliff in his first year in WPG? While Laine is scoring 40-50 goals with the Flyers.

I think the Trouba ones are for real as there has been rumous going on for couple years now. But I think the Laine reports are total trash.

Patrick is not even close to being as valuable as Laine right now, yes Laine had an off year but that is only given what is expected from him if Patrick had the year Laine just had then there wouldn't even be thoughts of Philly trading him, also the rumors of Laine wanting to leave Winnipeg shouldn't be beleived at all.

Laine just playing the cards he has to drum up the scare to give him the contract that he wants, ala doughty in la, drum up the interest in moving to Toronto In free agency. Just trying to make Chevy cave first. I would like to have the philly package, but not at the cost of laine, with the rental factor on trouba, not sure if your getting sanheim straight up for him. Jets need some grit that play in top 6 also, but that’s another conversation

What makes you think that Trouba has any interest in Philly? When his own agent said that Detroit is his preferred destination.

I first heard Detroit, then I heard Florida, now I am hearing the Metro teams- Flyers, Rangers, and Islanders. The Flyers are not far from being a serious contender. He would be in the number 1 pairing and will get the money he wants. Lots of rumours but Philly is an ideal place for him.
