If that's really the price for Leddy. I'd much rather keep Fleury and the 1st, draft one of Broberg, Soderstrom, Harley, and just sign Gardiner in the offseason (and I don't even want MTL to sign Gardiner...)

Leddy would be a good addition. but at that point, is he really that much better than Gardiner?

Giving Brook to get rid of Alzner is a stupid move. There is no rush to move Alzner, we can handle his contract for now.

Agreed. Cap space is only needed when its needed and the Habs don't need it right now. If they do need it, I would much rather waive Weal, Thompson and simply buyout Alzner than lose Brook.

Who's Cale Fleury? I'm an Islanders fan, but I've just never heard of him. Very doubtful Islanders trade Leddy for anything other than top-6 talent.

Cale fleury was select in the 3rd round in 2017. Mtl choose to send him at Laval (ahl) instead of the Whl. He put 23 pts in 60 ahl games on a bad Laval team at the age of 20 years old. He is an offensive RHD.
