Cup run for Flyers

Description
The Mcdonald to Ottawa trade is strick salary dump. I threw in what I did to make it happen and Ottawa gets a player to develop and vet Dman for the year only giving up a draft pick in 2020.
Moving Provanov and picks to Winnipeg as he fits into their salary structure better and they get some future picks to free up Trouba… Figure it will cost at least a 1st to get him.. 2nd rd pick may be to much
Willing to take Puljujarvi with the hope of a fresh start will be good for him and give him a two year deal to show it if he wants more $$ down the road. Exchange of picks hopefully balances it up.

Signing Hayes who was accuired before the draft and Dzingel helps add depth and scoring to the top 9. If it works out well and we stay healthy the two new wingers are good for Patrick to grow and develop on the 3rd line for a year more.

On defence, Hainsey is great 5-6 guy and logs lots of minutes on the PK. Trouba strengthens the defence with his addition.

Talbot has a history with Hart and bringing him back for two more years to work along side Hart with make a solid pair between the pipes.

Think this would be a good line up in the east.

I'm sure the Jets would love that offer but I can't see Philly making it.

Oilers would probably want a better / younger asset in return for Jesse Puljujarvi. I doubt Hartman and a 3rd round pick get the deal done. Oilers decline.

Provorov and the 11th pick for Trouba is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much. God, Trouba is good but let's not go off the deep end either.

So many questions....

That Jets trade is beyond an overpay, do you honestly feel Trouba would be worth our #1 LD, 11th OA , plus a 2nd?
Why is Lindblom on his opposite wing on the 4th line?
$2.5 million for Laughton? $5.25 for Konecny? Way too much
Schlemko/Hainsey on the 3rd pairing? No Myers anywhere?

Ok I quit... my brain hurts by this team.

Puljujarvi has 17 goals and 20 assists in 139 career games. Yes, he's only 21 and he has 3 quality centers to play with and the Oilers aren't that deep on the flanks, but has yet to show any signs of being a top pedigree forward. What do you realistically expect for a return?

like you said he's only 21 not a bust yet. Theres potential and nowadays teams take chances and pay for what they hope players can do in the future. By no means is Puljujarvi worth a first round pick but he does have value. I would say he's worth at least a 2nd round pick. Just my opinion let me know what you think!

Easy all... just some scenarios... there are a couple of overpays but at the end of the day... this is a good lineup and something you could win with... I’m not a paid GM just yet so I’m just feeling the waters LOL
