Agreed. I would say if you want to Get rid of Maatta to free up space and package him with Simon, that's fine. Take picks though instead. Couple mid rounders maybe or a 3rd and a 5th spread across this year and next if need be. That frees up the 2.9 you would be spending on Tierney to spend on Hagelin if you want him. Or something like that

Absolutely horrendous. All the signings are bad, bad, bad. No serious Penguins AGM post would have Garrett Wilson on the team. ZAR is overpaid and Sheahan was traded for a reason. Kovalchuk is a washed up has been on a terrible contract, etc.
