make it Colorado's pick at #16 instead of the #4 pick and you're a lot closer.. since when has a 1 year rental gone for a top 5 pick and an organizational top prospect?

I would be pulling my hair out if hall came into the central, especially on an up and coming Colorado team who should be competing for first with my jets for at least a few years.

It obviously comes with an extension. Hall commits to Colorado prior to the deal.

Yes with an extension, you aren’t getting the 4th overall and kaut. That’s a massive over payment

Yeah, people just get Hart Trophy winners for free these days.

You aren’t getting a top 5 pick for a guy who will be 29 in the 1st year of an over bloated extension.

There is a reason why top 5 picks aren’t traded, they are too valuable. Plus an nhl ready forward prospect, you are living in a fantasy world

Yeah, sure. Guess we'll just have to settle for Alex Kerfoot's rights and Shane Bowers. Taylor Hall sucks.

Exactly no response, it’s not a slight on hall but that’s just the reality of how the nhl works, Montreal wouldn’t move the 3rd overall for ROR and avs won’t move the 4th plus kaut for hall

Then NJ isn't getting Miller. The price is a 2nd or a 3rd with a prospect. And that is actually selling low on a top 4 right side D with a good contract.

ROR isn't in Hall's league. It's definitely a slight against Hall if you say it's a massive overpayment and refer to his extension as "overbloated" meaning he's not worth it. Everyone thinks their prospects are worth more than their weight in gold. This is nothing new. Screw the 28 year old Hart Trophy winner, WE WANT OUR PROSPECTS!

16 and Kaut would work too but that's only if one of Robertson, Seider or Harley are on the board.

You're so far up against the cap, good luck actually being able to stand your ground in negotiations. Miller isn't worth a 2nd in this draft.

Yes paying a 29 year old 12m range would be over bloated at that age, it will. hurt you in the later years of the contract bc he's not taking less than a 7 year deal. NO one wants to be paying 12m to a 35-36 year old.

Its the 4th overall you simpleton, you are acting like its just a standard 1st round pick, there is high high value you to it, and they are not traded in this league. Why slam the Avs window shut with eating up all their cap space before it even opens. The 4th and Kaut keep their competitive window open much much longer with having high end young forwards coming in on ELCS

ROR is one of the elite 2 way Cs in this league, Hall is a scoring Winger. As shown you win with guys like ROR, you dont with Hall. Avs were top 10 in offence last year, so hall doesn't od anything for them, another scoring winger who doesnt solve their issues of 2nd line C.

Like I said living in a delusional world if you think you can get the 4th overall plus Kaut for Hall

Then it's not enough with an extension.. have to add quite a bit more for a former MVP

Yeah, you don't win with Hart Trophy winners. That's for certain. Dude literally lifted an entire team to the playoffs but, yeah, you win with ROR not Taylor Hall.

Love the resort to name calling as if it makes you superior. Just makes you look childish af. Seeing your history, it seems that's just what you do so I shouldn't be surprised.

Give me a realistic return for Hall, in your eyes.

Its not the 4th overall thats for sure. Probably has to be 16th overall, Jost, probably a prospect like Henry or Bowers and the Sens 3rd (63rd overall). No team is giving up 2 of its top assets, you have to be realistic here.

and what happened lifting a team? What did that get you? Destroyed by the Lightning. Thats not winning.
Also for the record Hall should Neve have won that Hart, it was a crime MacKinnon didnt get it bc writers in the east punished him for having Mikko on his line yet they over looked Nico on Halls line. Dumb logic by the dumb old school hockey writers .

Nothing special about this draft. Its ultimately a 7 player draft in my opinion. 8 if you count the goalie Knight.

Same thing it's gotten you guys so far with your "rightful Hart winner"...no cups. I'm not surprised that you're a massive homer though lol.

16 and Jost is friggin' laughable. Go away.

This draft is crazy deep. You're going to get a first round talent in the 2nd.

then have fun watching Hall leave for nothing, you arent going to get this kings ransom for a guy that doesnt want to be in NJ.
You do you man, you still believe pending UFAs who dont want to sign with your team can net you the 4th overall.

I would take Mark Stone 10 times out of 10 over Hall, and look at what his return was, You might have to come down and live on planet earth

Hall lifts a team to the playoffs that finishes at the bottom of the league and ends up with the top pick a year later without him...THAT'S NOT WINNING.

Nowhere did I say "it was winning." I said he literally lifted a team to the playoffs.

Taylor Hall is a fraud I tell you, a fraud!

Enjoy wasting MacKinnon's prime and his great contract though.
