Pavelski will just depend on whether or not SAN Jose makes the Room, the trade though looks really good to me, I like the idea and if Trouba would sign long term happily in PHI than it looks good

Yeah I'm not sure what the Sharks plans are, but with keeping Karlsson they put themselves int he same cap hell that Tampa and Toronto are in. I never really thought Pavelski would leave, but now i'm not sure. I don't know how they pay Meier and then bring back Pavelski around $7m.

laugh laugh Karlsson just signed north of $11 million So Trouba will easily get between $8 to $8.5 million per over 7 or 8 years. Delusional fans are crazy if they think that Trouba signs for only $7 million per.

Not really comparable. Karlsson would have been UFA and is one of the best players in hockey when healthy. Trouba is an RFA and doesn't have that same pedigree. If he wants $8m + I think he's going to have to sign a 1 year deal, have a great year, then test the UFA market next July. He very well may do that, but if that's the plan I wouldn't make the trade for him.

I think that Winnipeg deal can do without the 1st. i would say if there even needs to be a pick included, doesn't need to be more than a 3rd/4th.
