Description

Marner v. Boeser blockbuster trade, with other realistic trades.

1. Arizona. If rumoured to take Marleau, I'm giving two good prospects and a pick. In return, freeing Arizona from one contract, as they already have three RHDs with high salary. Certainly fair as a sweetener.
2. Vegas. They struggle with the cap and Miller was a healthy scratch. Dermott costs less, and is a highly promising defender, NHL ready. Clearly a fair trade.
3. Edmonton. The good ol' Brown-Benning trade.
4. NYI. Zaitsev returns to his mentor Lou.

Rather have Dermot than Miller, and with the cap saving you can keep Marner instead of trading for Boesner.
Lou was hardly a mentor. Isles don't do that deal.

Isles have 7 d man on the roster better than Zaitsev.
