Trade down for more than that. Byram is a generational defenseman.

To be honest, not a whole lot seperates Turcotte, Byram, Dach, Cozens, and Zegras after Hughes and Kakko go. Outside of Zegras, I wouldn't mind the Hawks drafting any of the aforementioned prospects.

I considered Reinhart straight up but I don't think Buffalo would do that to jump 4 spots, unless they had a hard-on for someone in particular lol

If the hawks didn't trade for Maatta, I'd consider 7th, McCabe and Olofsson.

Trade down for that?! Anisimov is better than Sheary. Do we need another 5'8 player? Alex Nylander is not William...or even Michael. Awful.

The chance of Cozens dropping all the way down to 7 is just about nil. He and Turcotte will be off the board before then.

Yeah you're trading with the wrong team if you're seeking Cozens, Detroit with their #6 pick probably take one of Cozens/Zegras/Podkolzin Detroit is extremely high on both Cozens/Dach.
