overpay to bring him in/have the cap to do it so why not on a 1 year deal...also think he gets a bit more than 1-1.5M

Who's paying 3 mil to a guy on the tail end of his career, who put up 10 points last season, coming off of a knee surgery?

Dont know if you saw the awards last night but Danault just finished 7th in Selke voting and is on a very friendly contract. Islanders would need to blow MTL out of the water for it to be considered. This deal doesnt do anything for them.

Someone will - I am saying I bet he still gets 3, not he deserves 3. He deserves an AHL deal.

Leddy to Montreal is a natural, but I don't think Danault will be involved; more like a pick(s)-and-prospect(s) exchange.

Someone will take a chance on Perry for between $2M and $3M.

I don't think Ehlers' value has slipped that far.
