Marleau, Ziatsev and you'd have to retain 2 million. No one's buying Voracek

You're right no team would be interested in a guy who has averaged 64 points and a 52% CF in his career... He makes a lot of money because he is good

He's 30, regressing, inconsistent and signed to long at 8.25

85 points in 17-18 and 66 points in 78 games in 18-19. He is getting older and makes a lot don't know I agree hes regressing.

Not sure what the Flyers would want from Calgary, but unfortunately we couldn't afford him without sending Neal back and right now he's negative value. If Neal was back to his usual 20-25G and 40-50 point pace I think the Flames would send: Neal, 2019 first (26OA), 2020 third and the value would be close, but that there would be a better offer from elsewhere.

I think you target one of the teams either in win now mode with cap space who could do with deeper offence or one of the up and coming teams who are trying to strengthen to take the next step. Dallas, Nashville, and the Islanders are in that first group. Buffalo, Colorado, Arizona and maybe Ottawa if they think they're trying to start winning yet are in the second.

Ideally you open up cap space to sign Provorov, Sanheim, Konecny long term so the real prize would be an additional 1st round pick. Then maybe a bottom 6 winger or backup goalie depending on how much value is left.
