Take cover...Toronto fans think he's worth a kings ransom, but when it comes to signing Kap he's only worth $2.75M or $3M. It's an interesting conflict of perspective for sure.

That said, Kap is worth more then Moore. Just offer a 2nd and 5th or offer sheet him for a 2nd.

Yeah especially 1 for 1 for freakin John Moore lol. Feel like a lot of people write off Heinen because he doesn’t bring much on offense with that third line. Great defensive player though. No joke, I think if he played a full season on the first line he could put up 60 points and get a few selke votes. He put up 47 a couple seasons ago and only played half the year on the first line.

if matthews and tavares can get it done on their own by all means go for it, but that hasn't exactly been a success

Moore certainly isn't going to give the leafs a better shot than Moore though. Trade just doesn't make sense for the leafs.

Agree 100% on Heinen. He's a swiss army knife that you can put on any line and he'll help simplify the game

He's a 50/50 player. 50% of fans hate him and 50% love him. I do think he could be a 55-60 point guy playing on the 1st line.
